My favorite activity in McCall has to be moutain biking. Taking the chair lift up Brundage is a great way to get started. They offer bike rentals and helmets (don't even think of not wearing one) as well as breath taking views! It's not as arduous a ride as climbing to Osprey point under pedal power, but it's hard to beat the chair ride to the top!
